Today I’ll be rounding up some sites which will not only boosts up your workflow but will definitely improve your skills as well, you probably will learn new stuff you didn’t know before.
With so much photoshop tutorials floating around the web, you just can’t seem to know which way to go, but trust me there is one site that will teach you not just ‘how to‘ but to rock at and be a guru at photoshop, and that site is none other than psdtuts.com, they know what they’re doing and they rock at it.
Nick La of webdesignerwall.com hits us with some of his techniques to make our vector designs add some spice, he also has some tutorials on advanced CSS and Hacks.
What do you know, after checking out the comment of Mark, who noticed some comparisons between videocopilots‘ and mine, video copilot’s tutorials are awesome, since I’m still a novice user of after effects, I’ll be busy checking out some of his tutorials.
Soon I’ll be making one of these tutorial thing so be sure to be check it out and I’m sure you’ll find it useful.

With Christmas just around the corner, you can get some extra nice stuff and internet is the place to look for cool competitions and giveaways. At neilduckett.com, he is giving away a Canon IXY Digital 1000. with 10 MEGs of ultra high resolution goodness.
Contest runs until December 10th and all you have to do is either subscribe by email, write a post regarding the competition and linkback to the website. The competition is open to everybody, you get more chance of winning if you purchase one of his ads spot.

It’s been almost 3 months since I last enter some online design contest/competition and I’ve been itchy about doing so, by far I’ve already submitted 9 logo designs.
My target is to try to submit 20 logos each week at the sitepoint contest and see if I can compete with the other designers there. I hope to win a contest and convince my self that I too can design professional logos. Some of the contest have already ended and some are still in process. Here are a couple of my designs that I submitted, tell me what you think?
