The Legendary Stumble Effect

Posted on March 11th, 2008 by The_Chemist under: Blog

From the usual 40-70 visitors per day I was hit by a swarm of stumblers and have given me an uber zoom into the heavens traffic. I seldom check my analytics, the day after the project at JCD wrapped up, I took a peek…suddenly the world stop with only me and my analytics account. Hey, is this my account? 3,716 visitors? Is there a problem with analytics, they’re showing wrong figures, That’s a hundred times more than my usual days. Still confused, I checked the referrers, and bingo! stumble upon, so that’s why the figures are that big.

I know that’s the stumble effect is short-lived, so I’ll just continue to create more quality content before that effect vanish. Thanks for stumbling my site, keep on stumbling. :)

Anyways, here’s a screenshot of my analytics account, just sharing what stumble upon has done to my site, and I’m also celebrating the first line that has shown on my alexa stats, at last after 6 months.
