I’ve stumbled upon a great online application that can be used as an image editor, with features such as rescaling, cropping, and a feature which is new to me, retargeting. Retargeting which uses seam carving allows part of the image to be resized while leaving key areas of interest undistorted. although most of us uses image editing software like photoshop which I think is hard to replace. This web-based application, rsizr has a thing to say when it comes to ease of use, despite the fact that it’s online, cropping and resizing images can be done in a fly , It even supports the following formats: JPEG, GIF, and PNG. try it for yourself.

With a little bit of patience and a small burst of creative juice, you may be able to remove objects out of pictures using some shrink, expand and preserve tools and be able to create some pretty good art for yourself.

If you don’ t have an image editing software installed, let’s say you’re using someone else’s computer, and you needed an image editor to resize some pictures, then I suggest you use this tool.

I’m a Flash coder myself but I’m impress at how this coders of this app are using Adobe Flash as a means of creating useful online applications, pretty nifty stuff! ^^

You may need to install the latest Adobe Flash Player for it to work.
